Bacon Wrapped Cheese-Steak Stuffed Meatloaf


1-pound ground beef
Olive oil
1 onion, thinly sliced
2 green peppers, sliced
1t-dried oregano
1/2 pound sliced provolone
15 slices bacon

Heat oven to 375. In a sauté pan, add olive oil and sauté peppers and onion until onion is translucent and peppers are soft. Set aside. In a bowl, mix ground beef with salt, pepper and oregano. Lay out a square of foil. Lay out bacon on foil so that each piece just overlaps the one next to it.  Spread seasoned ground beef over the bacon.  Cover the ground beef with cheese.  Top with peppers and onions.  Use the foil to roll up the meatloaf.  Next, place meatloaf in a bread pan.  Bake, covered for 30 minutes.  Uncover and bake for additional 20 minutes.
